ROC is presenting a workshop with Navina Khanna:

“Food Justice Through Food Systems Policy Making”: This workshop will introduce what our food system is, how it relates to food justice, and how community organizing is an essential strategy to developing food systems policy fit for the 21st century. Presenters will use current work of Oakland Food Policy Council’s Economic Security & Development Work Group to demonstrate how community-centered policy can drive a healthier, more equitable and more resilient local food system.
